John Deere 6100 used a newly developed four-cylinder diesel engine of 4.5 liters and 75 hp. The newly mounted tilting Tech Center booth was much larger and the noise level was reduced to 75 dB. Standard transmission was SynchroPlus 18 + 6 gearbox 40 km / h. Optional was a Powerquad 24 + 16 transmission available. A PowerQuad 24 + 24 could be ordered only after 1995.
